Şahin left the hotel in a vehicle with a private security detail and a driver provided by her boyfriend. However, a card on the vehicle's window reading 'reserved for official service' drew attention.
MINISTRY INITIATES LEGAL ACTION
The Ministry of Trade stated that the vehicle in question did not belong to them and that the card was being used illegally, prompting them to initiate legal proceedings. The Ministry stated that they had previously issued warnings to prevent such abuses, but that the misuse continued.
In its statement, the Ministry noted that the vehicle belonged to a company affiliated with the Mediterranean Exporters' Associations General Secretariat and was being used by Burak Ateş. It was also announced that instructions had been given to the Governorates of Istanbul and Mersin to initiate the necessary legal actions regarding the matter.
