A new development has occurred regarding the fund investigation. A precautionary measure has been imposed on the assets and companies of Astor Enerji Chairman of the Board Feridun Geçgel and Enver Geçgel.
It has been alleged that the owner of Doğa Sigorta, Nihat Kırmızı, and the owner of Nevali Otel, Cengiz Avcı, are also on the list stated to be connected to the investigation. It was stated that precautionary measures have been applied to the assets, bank accounts, and companies of the individuals in question.
Feridun Geçgel was ranked first in the "Turkey's richest businesspeople" list published in June with a fortune of 5.3 billion dollars.
Another claim within the scope of the investigation came from journalist Barış Yarkadaş. Yarkadaş alleged that Çeçen İnşaat/IC Holding withdrew 53 billion lira from Tera in a single night.
Yarkadaş also claimed that the assets of Çeçen İnşaat have been frozen.
