New evidence has been added to the investigation into the death of artist Gül Tut, known to the public as Güllü, who lost her life after falling from the 6th floor of her home in the Çınarcık district of Yalova.
Footage of the physical reenactment of the incident, performed by Sultan Nur Ulu—who was present in the house at the time and is currently under house arrest as part of the investigation—at the prosecutor's office has been included in the court file. In her statement, Ulu alleged that the detained suspect, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter, grabbed her mother Güllü by the legs and threw her out of the window.
In the footage added to the file, Ulu is seen demonstrating her claim that Gülter lifted her mother by grabbing her under the hips and legs. Ulu also explained that immediately after the incident, Gülter shouted "Run" and went downstairs, and that she followed her.
DETAILS IN THE INDICTMENT
The indictment prepared by the Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor's Office states that the incident was premeditated. According to the indictment, on the night of the incident, Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter asked her friend Sultan Nur Ulu to play "Malkata," a Roman-style song that Güllü liked, to lure her mother into the target room.
The indictment states that Güllü, hearing the song, entered the room saying, "What is that?" and began to accompany the music. The prosecution considers the playing of the music to be part of the plan for the incident.
The file also includes an expert report on the audio recordings from the scene. The report, prepared by Istanbul Technical University, states that a young woman's voice was detected saying "See you later" in a mocking and cheerful tone just before the fall.
It was reported that the prosecution has reached the conclusion that these words belong to Tuğyan Ülkem Gülter. The final assessment regarding the suspect during the investigation and trial process will be made by the court.
