New objection from the prosecutor's office regarding the judicial control decision for Melek Mosso
Following the release of famous singer Melek Mosso, the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has objected to the decision not to impose judicial control during the legal process.

Developments continue to unfold in the legal process concerning Melek Mosso, who was recently detained and subsequently released as part of a drug investigation. While the artist was granted the right to be tried without detention, the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office opposed this decision and brought the request for judicial control back to the agenda.
As part of the ongoing investigation, a total of nine individuals were detained in an operation in the morning hours, with Mosso among them. After being detained, Mosso was taken to the Council of Forensic Medicine for blood and hair samples, and was then referred to the courthouse following her statement.
The prosecutor's office had applied to the criminal judgeship of peace, stating that judicial control should be imposed on Melek Mosso. However, the judgeship did not find this request appropriate and ruled that Mosso be tried without detention. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has now filed a formal objection to this decision.
Melek Mosso made the following statement on her social media account regarding the events:
"I was detained in the morning hours as part of an investigation conducted by the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. I acted in full cooperation with the officers in charge during the search, statement, and investigation phases, and no criminal elements were found during the search of my residence.
The medications found in my home are prescription drugs that were prescribed by my doctor for my treatment, legally obtained from an authorized pharmacy, and are being used under medical supervision. There is no use of any substance other than prescription medication.
The necessary prescriptions were submitted to the prosecutor's office, and at the end of the process, it was decided that I would be tried without detention, without even the application of judicial control. Since there is no act that constitutes a crime, this result was not a surprise to me.
I sincerely thank the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and the Gendarmerie Command for their lawful, respectful, constructive, and professional attitude throughout the process.
