New operation in Ankara regarding the Gülistan Doku investigation: Digital correspondence under scrutiny

A new development has occurred in the investigation conducted by the Erzurum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the disappearance of Gülistan Doku. A new operation was carried out in Ankara as part of the investigation.

It was stated that the operation is linked to correspondence obtained during the examination of digital materials belonging to former Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel.

It was reported that the correspondence accessed through digital materials in the file is being evaluated in terms of various criminal charges.

Following the examination of correspondence between the detained former Governor Tuncay Sonel and former police officer Gökhan Ertok, who was dismissed from his profession, a simultaneous operation was carried out in Ankara. Two suspects were detained in the operation and taken to the police station to have their statements taken.
