Objection to release decision in school attack case: Taken back into custody
Pınar Peyman Mersinli, who was released in the school attack case in Kahramanmaraş, has been taken into custody in Osmaniye following an objection by the families.

In the case regarding the attack at Ayser Çalık Secondary School in Kahramanmaraş, where 9 students and 1 teacher lost their lives, an objection was filed against the release decision granted to Pınar Peyman Mersinli, the mother of the attacker İsa Aras Mersinli.
During the first hearing of the case, which lasted approximately 16 hours, a decision was made by majority vote to release Pınar Peyman Mersinli. Following the decision, Mersinli was released at night from the prison in Kayseri where she was being held.
The lawyer for the families of the victims applied to the Kahramanmaraş 4th High Criminal Court against the release decision. Evaluating the objection, the court issued an arrest warrant for Pınar Peyman Mersinli.
It was learned that following the arrest warrant, Pınar Peyman Mersinli was apprehended and taken into custody in Osmaniye.
