In an incident that occurred on İbni Sina Street in the Görece neighborhood of İzmir's Menderes district, 45-year-old Serpil Güral was stabbed to death following an argument with her husband, A.G.
The incident took place around 13:15. While the cause of the argument is not yet known, police and medical teams arriving at the scene determined that Güral, a mother of two, had lost her life.
Serpil Güral's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy following the prosecutor's examination. A.G., who killed his wife, was apprehended by the police and taken into custody.
It was revealed that the deceased woman had obtained a 1-month restraining order against her husband, A.G., on September 22. The investigation launched into this tragic incident is continuing.
