Seçil Erzan’s dizzying phone traffic: Look who the most notable 'Ahmet Can' in her conversations turned out to be

The 6-month retrospective mobile phone records of Seçil Erzan, who is being held in custody in the multi-million dollar fraud case, are dizzying. Details of the records included in Seçil Erzan’s investigation file have emerged.

THE PERSON SHE SPOKE WITH MOST: CANDAŞ GÜROL

According to the HTS records of all calls and messages made between October 7, 2022, and April 7, 2023, by court order, the person Seçil Erzan spoke with most frequently was her ex-boyfriend, lawyer Candaş Gürol. The two had 1,100 phone conversations in the last 6 months.

THE DIZZYING TRAFFIC OF AHMET CAN, WHO SPOKE 795 TIMES

The second person Seçil Erzan spoke with most was the name 'Ahmet Can'. It turned out that the phone registered under the name Ahmet Can, which also drew the attention of the prosecution and police conducting the investigation, actually belonged to Nazlı Can. However, the HTS records of Nazlı Can that emerged during the calls are dizzying. Nazlı Can, who spoke with Seçil Erzan exactly 795 times, is notable for the fact that her HTS records show her pinging different cell towers in different districts throughout the day. For example, in the calls made during the day, it is seen that Nazlı Can was in Çorlu, then a few hours later in Istanbul Göktürk, and then in Beşiktaş on the same day. It is observed that she last spoke with Seçil Erzan on March 30, 2023, via the line registered to 'Ahmet Can'.

CALLS WITH FAMOUS NAMES

The released documents also show the phone call records of famous names who spoke with Seçil Erzan on her mobile phone. One of the complainants who has been widely discussed, Arda Turan, had 131 mutual phone conversations. There are 20 phone calls with Semih Kaya and 46 with Musa Mert Çetin. While Fulya Terim has 24 recorded calls, her son-in-law Volkan Bahçekapılı is seen to have had 7 phone conversations with Seçil Erzan. Nur Erkasap, the wife of Müfit Erkasap, one of the frequently mentioned names, had 195 mutual conversations with Seçil Erzan recorded.

MUNICIPAL POLICE OFFICER AND ALİ YÖRÜK

The records of Seçil Erzan’s conversations with individuals who are suspects in the file are also noteworthy. For example, municipal police officer Hüseyin Eligül, who has been a subject of much curiosity, had a traffic of 233 calls with Seçil Erzan. It is striking that Seçil Erzan spoke 106 times with the other suspect, Ali Yörük. There are also 137 call records involving a phone number registered to Köşkdere Otomotiv in her messages.

TRAFFIC OF THE LAST TWO DAYS

Who did Seçil Erzan speak with on April 6, when the incident first flared up, and April 7, when it broke? Here are the details of those calls; on the morning of April 6 at 07:09, Seçil Erzan spoke with someone named Ali Öztürk. That day, İnci Çeviker spoke with Seçil Erzan 6 times by phone. Seçil Erzan, who spoke twice with Ali Yörük, also had a call with another complainant, Ömer Kahraman. Erzan, who spoke by phone with Prof. Dr. Lawyer Hediye Ergin, also had calls with some names not involved in the investigation.

On April 7, the day the incident broke, the first person she spoke with in the morning was İnci Çeviker. Following that, calls with other complainants Ömer Kahraman and Arda Turan stand out. She sent a message to Köşkdere Otomotiv, and a phone call is also recorded. Additionally, one of the people who made the final calls was municipal police officer Hüseyin Eligül. The last person to call Seçil at 15:24 was Arda Turan. Arda Turan’s call appears to last only 1 second.
