Teknosa fined 17 million lira for competition violation

The Competition Board has determined that certain technology retailers, including Teknosa, violated the law by engaging in anti-competitive information sharing through Fakir Elektrikli Ev Aletleri. It was determined that this violation involved indirect information exchange in the nature of a "hub-and-spoke" cartel.

Teknosa chose to accept this violation and pursue a settlement. As a result of the settlement process, a 25 percent discount was applied to the fine determined by the Competition Board, and Teknosa was fined approximately 17 million lira. With this decision, the investigation into Teknosa has been concluded.
