Yeni Akit columnist targets Constitutional Court: 'Let us understand whose side you are on'
Following the crisis sparked by the Court of Cassation's 3rd Criminal Chamber refusing to comply with the Constitutional Court's (AYM) ruling on rights violations and filing a criminal complaint against AYM members, Yeni Akit columnist Ali Karahasanoğlu has targeted the Constitutional Court.

Yeni Akit columnist Ali Karahasanoğlu evaluated the Court of Cassation's decision to file a criminal complaint against the members of the Constitutional Court who issued a ruling of rights violation regarding TİP MP Can Atalay.
Targeting the Constitution and the Constitutional Court, Karahasanoğlu stated the following:
"Come, let us agree on amending the Constitution.. Let us not engage in unnecessary conflict out of nowhere. Let me also remind the so-called nationalists who have taken a stance in favor of the AYM's decision.. The 3rd Criminal Chamber stated in its decision yesterday.. If one acts in accordance with this AYM ruling, many people, starting from the PKK's ringleader in Qandil, Murat Karayılan, to Fethullah Gülen, could attempt to get elected as MPs and benefit from parliamentary immunity.. If you approve of this, say it openly.. Let us understand whose side you are on"
