11 foster families who completed their training become a home to 12 children

Citizens in Antalya have shown great interest in the Foster Family Program, which is carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Family and Social Services. With the Foster Family Contract Ceremony organized by the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, 11 families who completed the training process and became eligible to be foster families have become a home to 12 children. The ceremony was attended by Governor Hulusi Şahin and his wife Ebru Şahin, Deputy Governor Erol Tanrıkulu, Provincial Director of Family and Social Services Galip Sökmen, institution staff, as well as foster families and children.

Stating that foster families are a source of hope for our society, Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin said, "These children are the children of our nation and the apple of our eye. Foster families are the embodiment of our nation's high character. These are the angels who protect our children and take care of the children of this nation. I feel much happier when I am with you. I hope that the number of our foster families will increase even more in this race of charity and compassion, and that Antalya will enter the top 3 provinces in our country. Thank you all very much. Following the speeches, Governor Şahin signed the delivery report for the children with the foster families and cut a cake with the children and families to commemorate the day.
