A dark comedy from Gürgen Öz and Aşkın Erol: 'A Bad Day'
Telling the story of Psychologist Erdem, who is forced to move into an apartment building inherited from his grandfather after his divorce, and finds himself trapped with the building superintendent Yakup in the small four-story building he never visited, 'A Bad Day' will meet audiences throughout January and February.

A dark comedy about class conflict, authority, the search for freedom, our discomforts, and our social codes, 'A Bad Day' will open its curtains on different stages throughout January and February.
Starring Gürgen Öz and Aşkın Erol, 'A Bad Day' will meet its audience in Istanbul on January 11 at Watergarden Performance Center Duru Tiyatro, January 17 at Beylikdüzü Atatürk Cultural and Arts Center, January 24 at Fişekhane, and January 26 at Kartal Sanat Theater Hall.
The play will be at the Ankara Yenimahalle Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center on January 27, the Antalya Türkan Şoray Cultural Center on February 3, the Bursa Podyum Sanat Mahal on February 9, and the Izmir Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center on February 15.
THE PLOT OF A BAD DAY
After divorcing his wife, Psychologist Erdem is forced to move into an apartment building inherited from his grandfather, only to realize that the only person living in this small four-story building he never visited is the building superintendent, Yakup. The day after he moves in, Yakup visits him to inform him that the last tenant living upstairs committed suicide a few days prior, and then leaves.
But immediately after, he returns as if he were a completely different person. Although Erdem notices through his psychologist's lens that Yakup is behaving strangely, it takes time for him to realize that the situation is much more serious. What happens between these two men trapped in the apartment promises the audience a dark history and an unsettling confrontation.
