Singer Yeşim Erçetin, who married businessman Fevzi Kardeseci two years ago and settled in the USA, has lost her husband.

Erçetin announced the sad news with the words, "We kept our vow; we were together through good times and bad, my dear husband. Your passing was so sudden. Rest in light... I thank those who called to offer their condolences. My pain is immense."

It was learned that Fevzi Kardeseci lost his life after hitting his head on a marble floor in the shower.

Yeşim Erçetin found Kardeseci's lifeless body.

SHE HAD SAID 'I WILL FILE FOR DIVORCE'

Yeşim Erçetin had previously stated that she would divorce Fevzi Kardeseci due to domestic violence, saying the following:

"Of course I will file for divorce. It is not something to be ashamed of. It is now a situation that can be shared. In any case, violence of any kind should not exist. It is a very tragic story that I have lived through. We have had problems since we got married, and we overcame them. I married him with great love. Unfortunate events happened one after another. The FBI raided our home.

I believed in my husband, I trusted him. I wanted everything to work itself out. But the result of this should not have been violence. He should not treat a woman who stands by him in this way. He subjected me to violence out of anger over money he lost gambling. In the car, he told me, 'You brought bad luck.' Unfortunately, those with such habits blame the people in front of them. Nothing had gone right since the unfortunate event he experienced anyway. He is constantly losing at gambling.

At first, he verbally abused me, saying, 'I'll hit you so hard your head will go through the glass,' and he pushed my head. I hit my head against the window. I have contacted my lawyer to initiate all legal proceedings. He will start them somehow, and this relationship will come to an end."
