İbrahim Nuray Ataman, the father of Ergin Ataman, head coach of the Turkish Men's National Basketball Team and the Greek club Panathinaikos, has passed away.
The news of his death was announced by Turkish Basketball Federation President Hidayet Türkoğlu in a post on his social media account.
In his personal social media post, Türkoğlu stated, "I have learned with sadness of the passing of İbrahim Nuray Ataman, the father of our Men's National Team head coach Ergin Ataman. I wish God's mercy upon the deceased and offer my condolences to his family and loved ones."
