Soner Arıca: HE WAS NOT JUST MY UNCLE BUT AN ARTIST I ADMIRED

Soner Arıca, who recently lost his mother and uncle, also took part in the ceremony. Arıca stated, "I am very confused and sad. I never imagined I would be talking for this reason. I am very, very sad. He was not just my uncle but an artist I admired. It is so absurd, I am so sad."

Experiencing emotional moments while continuing his words, Arıca said, "In our conversations, I would tell him, 'You are my uncle, but primarily you are a star I admire.' He would laugh at me... There is one thing I am very curious about; did his deep emotional side reflect? It must have reflected, but... I also want to explain, what happened to me, something happened to me, right? In the film Komser Şekspir, there was a scene where he cried at the Atatürk bust... I said, this is it..."

FAREWELL MESSAGES FROM THE ART COMMUNITY

Menderes Samancılar, who attended the memorial ceremony, expressed his sadness with the words, "He was a piece of our hearts."

According to Gece Muhabiri, Burak Deniz made the statement, "We have lost a very great name for Turkey and for Turkish cinema. May God give patience to his loved ones. Kadir İnanır was an idol for most of us. We grew up with his films."

"MY FEELING RIGHT NOW IS JUST TO STAND SILENTLY"

Kadir İnanır's life partner Jülide Kural used the following expressions in her speech:

"Actually, if you ask me, my feeling right now is just to stand silently. But what Kadir wanted to shout out is so great that I don't think my heart can bear it. That's why I will try to share something with you, even if it is brief.

Actually, you all know Kadir İnanır. His anger that overflows in the face of injustice, the fact that he never needed words when expressing his love, that conscience of his that rises up in the face of poverty, injustice, and inequality...

"Kadir İnanır IS GREEK, TURKISH, ARMENIAN, AND OF COURSE KURDISH"

You all know his humanity. Perhaps it is something I witnessed while he was performing his own acting in cinema, which was his greatest excitement throughout his life; the place he always returned to was his heart, his intuition, and most importantly, his curiosity and his courage to look at life with a smile. I always watched him during these processes. This was a great privilege for me. On the other hand, you know that with just one look, Kadir İnanır is the unforgettable one for his audience for years, and he is actually everyone's older brother, son, lover, uncle, father, and in fact, he is the people. He is Anatolia and a friend to all peoples. That is why he is Greek, Turkish, Armenian, Circassian, Bosniak, Turk, Arab, and of course Kurdish."

"YOUR TESTAMENT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY, MY LOVE, ONE DAY FOR SURE"

This is his greatest testament to his country while he was in this world or as he was leaving it. He would say, 'We, the peoples, will surely establish that great peace,' with the most beautiful smile in the world. Your testament is our responsibility. One day, for sure, my love. For sure..."
