Announcing the news on social media, Cem Yılmaz said the following:
"May our dear elder Ahmet Uğurlu, the uncle of my childhood friends Taner and Tuna, and the older brother of our brother Mustafa, rest in peace. I wish patience for his family and all his loved ones... He was our youth hero, may he rest in peace."

WHO IS AHMET UĞURLU?
Ahmet Uğurlu was one of the well-known names in the world of Turkish theater, cinema, and television.
Born on August 2, 1952, in Konya, Uğurlu received theater training at the Ankara State Conservatory. This education gave him the opportunity to develop his deep interest in and talent for the performing arts. Uğurlu's artistic life was shaped by the performances he gave and the roles he took on in various State Theaters.
Ahmet Uğurlu carried his presence on the theater stage into cinema and television, starring in many important films and series. The turning point in his cinema career was the film "Somersault in a Coffin" (Tabutta Rövaşata), directed by Derviş Zaim. With the character 'Mahsun' he portrayed in this film, he received acclaim both nationally and internationally and won various awards.
