Actor Akın Akınözü wept for minutes by his mother's coffin

Akın Akınözü was shaken by the loss of his mother in recent days. Akın Akınözü's mother, Özlem Akınözü, succumbed to cancer at the age of 60.

I lost my past. I lost my dreams. I lost my excitement. I lost my home. I lost my hero. I lost my childhood. I lost my angel. And I lost my first true love. Because I lost you. From now on, life will always be bitter and incomplete for me. The only thing left is the eternal 'LONGING' (ÖZLEM) I feel for you - your son." 

WEPT FOR MINUTES BY THE COFFIN

Özlem Akınözü was laid to rest today with a ceremony held in Istanbul. According to a report by Muhabir Online, Akın Akınözü, devastated by his mother's death, did not leave the side of the coffin throughout the funeral ceremony. 

Loved ones who attended the ceremony tried to comfort the actor, who had difficulty standing and shed tears for minutes. Following the funeral prayer, Özlem Akınözü was buried at the Yeni Ayazağa Cemetery.
