Actor Doğacan Taşpınar has passed away

Actor, director, and voice artist Doğacan Taşpınar has passed away at the age of 45.

The Actors' Union announced the news of Taşpınar's death. The statement read, "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear colleague Doğacan Taşpınar at a young age. We wish patience for his family, all his friends, and his loved ones. Our condolences to us all. We are very sad."

Taşpınar, whose sudden death has left his family and loved ones in deep sorrow, was married to Balca Yücesoy.

Bakırköy Municipality shared information regarding Taşpınar's funeral ceremony on its social media account. The statement said, "We are bidding farewell to our fellow actor Doğacan Taşpınar from the Turhan Tuzcu Stage on August 11 at 11:00."

WHO IS DOĞACAN TAŞPINAR?

Born in Ankara in 1980, Doğacan Taşpınar completed his arts education at the Haliç University Conservatory Theater Department, graduating in 2003. That same year, he began his acting career at the Bakırköy Municipal Theaters and achieved various successes in a short time.

Throughout his career, Taşpınar gained experience by taking part in important stage productions such as 'The Good Person of Szechwan', 'Teneke', and 'Külhanbeyi Musical'. He also drew the attention of television audiences with the series 'Küçük Kadınlar'.

In his private life, he was married to actress Balca Yücesoy.
