Actor Reha Özcan reveals who he will vote for in Istanbul: I wasn't going to vote, but circumstances have changed

Actor Reha Özcan gave a hint about which candidate he will vote for in Istanbul in the March 31, 2024 local elections. Stating, "I have never left anyone alone who was beaten by 17 people," Özcan pointed to IMM President Ekrem İmamoğlu without naming him.

Actor Reha Özcan, who stars in the series 'Üç Kız Kardeş' (Three Sisters), reacted to the fact that 17 ministers have mobilized for the AKP's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) mayoral candidate Murat Kurum.

Sharing on his social media account, Özcan stated that he was not going to vote but that circumstances had changed, saying, "I have never left anyone alone who was beaten by 17 people."


Özcan's post was interpreted as him intending to vote for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who has been renominated by the CHP.

Criticizing the 17 ministers participating in the election campaign for Murat Kurum, Ekrem İmamoğlu had said, "Come at me all at once, it doesn't matter. But I feel sorry for your candidate, for your candidate."
