Acun Ilıcalı reveals the cost of Survivor and the number of employees

Acun Ilıcalı, the producer of the Survivor All Star competition broadcast on Tv8, made statements to Ali Eyüboğlu from Milliyet.

Ilıcalı, who recently lost his temper and lashed out at fighting contestants by asking, "What do you want?", said that the 2024 All Star is the most difficult Survivor yet.

MESSAGE ON DISQUALIFICATION

Giving a message that there could be disqualifications in the competition, Ilıcalı said, "There could be disqualifications, there could be those who quit. We have experienced two to three seasons' worth of tension in one month. Survivor All Star 2024 is truly pushing my brain to its limits."

REVEALS THE COST OF SURVIVOR

In response to the question, "Is this the Survivor with the highest production cost?", Acun Ilıcalı replied:

"Yes... There is a cost of around 14-15 million dollars. You could make this production for 5 million dollars, but we make it for 15 million dollars; it depends on you. We use more cameras, our prizes are big. We take 13-14 people to the Rio Carnival. Taking them from the Dominican Republic to Rio and accommodating them there is a significant cost.

As long as our audience shows this interest, it is our duty to offer them better productions. I have played the game that way my whole life; I have made high-budget productions. I never forget, the cost of our first Survivor was 1 million 200 thousand dollars! The increase in cost from 1.2 million dollars to 15 million dollars is proof of how much we have grown the event."

REVEALS THE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES IN HIS COMPANIES

In response to the question, "How many people does Acun Ilıcalı employ abroad, including football clubs, and what is the number of your employees in Turkey?", he gave the following answer:

"2 thousand people abroad, and 1200-1300 in Turkey... In total, we are in the 3 thousand to 3 thousand 500 range."
