Famous television producer Acun Ilıcalı made notable remarks regarding his wealth and spending. Appearing as a guest on Hülya Avşar’s YouTube program, Ilıcalı answered questions about his wealth and spending habits with sincerity.

In response to Avşar’s question, “You are very rich, aren't you?”, Ilıcalı replied, “I’m not doing too badly. I have no limits. However, there is a system that regulates my financial operations.” Regarding the balance between his wealth and his expenses, he said:

“The economic scale I currently generate is not at a level that would be shaken by my expenses. However, this does not mean that I spend mindlessly. Of course, I have expenses: a plane, a boat, at least 10 people who expect support from me, and about 20 employees who work solely for me... All these responsibilities are on me.”

'I DO NOT BUY THINGS FOR SHOW'

Stating that he focuses on needs rather than luxury in his spending, Ilıcalı said, “I don’t like to buy things for show. I don’t buy a house or a car that I don’t use. For example, we built a hotel in the Dominican Republic. It cost 30 million dollars. But this is an investment, made for the comfort of our employees and to avoid hotel expenses. But I don’t prefer to go out and buy plots of land or accumulate property.”
