Master actor Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, known as İskender in the series Leyla ile Mecnun and Abdullah in Kızılcık Şerbeti, has become a target for scammers. Taylan's WhatsApp account was seized by scammers last November.

The scammers contacted the master actor's close friend, publishing house founder Cüneyt Dalgakıran, and requested a total of 80,000 TL from Dalgakıran twice under the pretext of an 'urgent payment'.

According to the report by Sabah, Cüneyt Dalgakıran, who sent the money to the account of a suspect named İbrahim D., became suspicious of the situation and called the master actor. Realizing he had been defrauded after the conversation, Dalgakıran went to the prosecutor's office and filed a complaint.

A lawsuit has been filed against İbrahim D. with a request for up to 10 years in prison for the crime of 'Fraud by Using Information Systems, Banks, and Credit Institutions as a Tool'.
