Alain Delon's will will not be carried out
The request by famous French actor Alain Delon to have his dog, Loubo, killed and buried alongside him will not be fulfilled.

The will of iconic artist Alain Delon, who passed away at the age of 88, will not be carried out.
According to a report in T24, the French actor's final wish to have his healthy dog killed and buried next to him was rejected after his family challenged the will and won the case.
Following the backlash from animal rights advocates, it was announced that the 10-year-old Belgian Malinois, Loubo, will continue to live a healthy life.
In a statement, Alain Delon's daughter, Anouchka Delon, said, "Loubo is part of our family and will stay with us. He will not be killed."
Following the will, which was met with outrage by many animal rights groups, offers had been made to find a new home for Loubo.
In a 2018 interview with Paris Match magazine regarding Loubo, the Belgian Malinois he adopted from a shelter in 2014 and who is now 10 years old, Alain Delon had stated, "He is my end-of-life dog. I love him like a child. I have had 50 dogs in my life, but I have a special relationship with this one. If I die before him, I will ask the vet to put him to sleep in my arms. I would prefer to do that than let him die on my grave with so much suffering."
