Alara Bozbey, Ecem of 'Kızılcık Şerbeti': 'I learned Turkish from news bulletins'
The guests on this week's episode of the program 'Müzik Evinde' were actress Alara Bozbey and singer Murat Güneş. Bozbey, who plays Ecem in the series Kızılcık Şerbeti, said, "I came to Turkey without knowing any Turkish, and I learned the language by following the main news bulletins."

The program, whose format belongs to Sertaç Akkaya, hosted Alara Bozbey, who plays Ecem in the series Kızılcık Şerbeti.
Bozbey, the daughter of a Lithuanian father and a Ukrainian mother, stated, "The best place to learn correct Turkish with proper diction is news bulletins. At first, I was speaking with such formal Turkish that I even struggled to connect words when ordering at a restaurant; it was very difficult. I was speaking like a news anchor."
'MY FINGERTIPS WERE TREMBLING'
The famous actress also expressed the excitement she felt during her first theater play with these words:
"I was so nervous during my first theater play that I wanted to quit on the night of the premiere. My fingertips were even trembling from the excitement. They convinced me to stay, but I don't remember anything from that night. I don't know how I performed or how I went out on stage..."
