Armağan Çağlayan commemorates Metin Arolat on his birthday with an emotional message

On Metin Arolat's birthday, his close friend Armağan Çağlayan shared an emotional message on social media. Arolat passed away last year after suffering a heart attack while on stage.

Metin Arolat, who fell ill and collapsed while performing on stage in Kozyatağı, Istanbul, on September 20 last year, could not be saved despite all interventions and passed away at the age of 52.

Following the initial intervention, Arolat was taken to the hospital but lost his life. A funeral ceremony was held for him at the Teşvikiye Mosque in Istanbul, and he was subsequently laid to rest at the Örnekköy Cemetery in İzmir.

On May 28, Metin Arolat's birthday, his close friend Armağan Çağlayan commemorated Arolat in a post on his social media account. Expressing his feelings, Çağlayan wrote, "I miss you so much, Oralet... Happy birthday."

A DESCENDANT OF RUMI

Born in İzmir in 1972, Metin Arolat was known as the 23rd-generation descendant of Rumi. After graduating from the Department of Business Administration at Dokuz Eylül University, he moved to Istanbul and began working in the advertising industry. After receiving advertising training in the United States, he stepped into the music world in 1995 with his album "Ayrılık Olmaz." Known as both a singer and a director, Arolat released many albums and singles, and also directed commercials for various brands.

DRUGS FOUND IN AUTOPSY REPORT

In the autopsy report released weeks after Metin Arolat's death, it was stated that ethyl alcohol and narcotic substances were detected in his blood. The cause of death was recorded as a heart attack.
