Armed attack on a night watchman in Avcılar, Istanbul
In Avcılar, an individual stopped by neighborhood watchmen during the night hours shot one of the officers. While the seriously injured watchman was taken to the hospital, it was learned that the 20-year-old suspect has a criminal record involving 8 separate offenses.

In the Avcılar district of Istanbul, neighborhood watchmen patrolling the Ambarlı Coast at around 04:00 stopped two individuals they found suspicious.
The individuals resisted the watchmen who wanted to perform an identity check.
One of the suspects, identified as Emirhan B. (20), fired an unlicensed handgun he was carrying. As a result of the gunfire, one of the on-duty watchmen, Barış K., was seriously wounded in the leg and groin.
HE IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION
With the arrival of backup teams, Emirhan B. and the other individual accompanying him were taken into custody. While the watchman was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, it was learned that he remains in critical condition.
HE HAS 8 SEPARATE OFFENSES
During the interrogation of Emirhan B., who seriously wounded the watchman, it was revealed that he is a repeat offender. Information was obtained that Emirhan B.’s 8 separate criminal records include "intentional injury" and "robbery."
The other suspect, who resisted the watchmen and was taken into custody, was found to have a criminal record involving nearly 50 similar incidents.
It was reported that the detention procedures for the individuals are ongoing.
