The background of the accident that occurred in Kemerburgaz on the evening of March 1 has been revealed.

The driver, who struck a group that had stopped on the emergency lane to check a broken-down ATV with a luxury vehicle, fled the scene.

In the chilling incident, Oğuz Murat Acı, a married father of one, lost his life at the scene, while the identity of the driver who disappeared was shocking.

According to allegations, it was determined that the person who caused the accident in question was 16-year-old T.C., the son of author Eylem Tok.

'FLEW TO EGYPT WITH HER SON'

It was determined that Cihantimur, who was taken from the scene by his mother's vehicle that arrived from behind on the evening of the accident, later flew to Egypt with his mother.

One person died and 3 were injured in the accident.

'MY SON IS VERY SICK'

Famous author Eylem Tok spoke to 12punto for the first time following the reports in the press.

Tok said, "My son is very sick, I am taking care of him. The reports in the press are incomplete. May God not test anyone with their child."

The Istanbul Police Department made the following statement regarding the matter today:

"It was determined that there were 3 ATV-type vehicles in traffic and that O.M.A., I.G., T.A., S.K., and H.T. were in these vehicles; while one of the ATVs broke down and was pulled to the right side of the road to be repaired, a vehicle driven by an individual named T.C., one of two vehicles traveling in the same direction, struck the 3 ATVs and came to a stop after entering the irrigation canal on the left side of the road.

As a result of the accident, all individuals in the 3 ATV vehicles were injured; O.M.A., who was transported to the hospital, could not be saved and lost his life, while it was understood that T.A. is in life-threatening condition. After the accident, the individual named T.C. fled the scene in the vehicle of his mother, E.T., who had arrived at the scene, and efforts to apprehend the suspects have been initiated.

In the investigation conducted; it was determined that the individuals named T.C. and E.T. went to Istanbul Airport around 02:00 after the incident, that a female individual named A.C.S. who was with them saw them off, and that the suspects processed their departure to board a flight to Egypt around 03:00, and flew to the country of Egypt around 04:30.

The investigation process regarding the matter is ongoing."
