Banu Küçükköylü, named in the Epstein files: 'I stayed in the US often, but...'
Banu Küçükköylü, one of two Turkish citizens whose names appeared in the case of US billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was tried on charges of sexual abuse, has responded to the allegations. Stating that she frequently traveled to the US, Küçükköylü said, "I am not the person mentioned in the case. I have been traveling to the US since 1988, but I do not know Epstein at all."

Banu Küçükköylü, one of two Republic of Turkey citizens whose names appeared in the Jeffrey Epstein files released to the public in the United States, has spoken about the matter for the first time.
The US prosecutor's office prepared a 943-page indictment regarding the US billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was tried on charges of sexually abusing young girls and creating a prostitution ring, and who committed suicide in prison in 2019.
It was alleged in the indictment that the person who testified under the pseudonym Jane Doe was Banu Küçükköylü.
Küçükköylü was also on the list of passengers who traveled to the island owned by Epstein, where pedophilia crimes were committed.
According to the report on Halk TV, Küçükköylü, whose name appeared in the file, said she did not know Epstein.
'NAME SIMILARITY'
Küçükköylü, whose mother is a US citizen, said, "I have been traveling to the US since 1988. I stayed in the US often. However, I do not know Epstein at all. I saw the name 'Banu Küçüköylü' in the flight record. I think it is entirely a case of name similarity."
Stating that she works as an investment consultant in Istanbul, Küçükköylü noted that she did not obtain US citizenship.
Küçükköylü said that she also participated in a beauty pageant in 1991 to represent Turkey in the US.
THEY FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST LOAN SHARKS
In addition to Banu Küçükköylü, her mother and sister had made headlines a few years ago with lawsuits they filed against loan sharks.
It was learned that the lawsuits of the Küçükköylü family, who filed a complaint due to a series of real estate properties they lost to loan sharks, are still ongoing.
