Reacting notably to the close attention and affection shown to young girls by their relatives, Bergüzar Korel stated, 'I hate people touching me.'
Following the tragic conclusion of the Narin Güran case, which broke Turkey's heart, almost everyone is demanding that the culprits be punished. Actress Bergüzar Korel has joined the many figures making posts about the issue.
Korel issued important warnings, especially to families with young girls.
Declaring war on pedophilia—commonly known as child abuse and defined as an intense desire to engage in sexual activity with a prepubescent child or children—Korel said, 'Know that we are coming after all of you,' and used the following expressions:
"Go let your uncle show you some love.
Just sit on his lap, oh come on, what's the harm, he's your uncle.
Have you ever seen such a beauty, uncle?
What's the big deal if he kisses you once, he's your cousin,
I could list thousands of sentences like these that I heard as a child.
I hate people touching me!
You can't even come close to my children anyway!
I don't trust anyone.
I don't entrust them to anyone.
Whether it's a relative or a friend.
'Well, can't we even show affection to a child anymore, oh my, we've become afraid.'
Be afraid, brother!
What do you mean by showing affection?
Why should you show affection to a person just because they have lived less than you, just because they are small?
Do not let anyone touch your children!!
And make them talk!
Please!
Tell them, 'Even if the world burns, I am by your side.'
No one can give you a secret.
There are no secrets between a mother and a child.
Check where your children play, check their phones, there is no such thing as privacy for them, they are children
Until the age of 18, they are a child. PERIOD!
Know that we are coming after all of you, pedophiles!
As a single person, I will always fight; know that I have eyes everywhere.
Everywhere I go, my eyes and ears are always on the children!"
