Betrayal allegations surface following Hande Erçel and Hakan Sabancı's breakup

The relationship between Hande Erçel and Hakan Sabancı, who had been together for three years, has ended due to a marriage crisis. Erçel confirmed the separation by removing photos of Sabancı from her social media account.

According to allegations, while Hande Erçel was making marriage plans, the disapproval of the relationship by Hakan Sabancı's mother, Arzu Sabancı, led to the breakup. Arzu Sabancı's social media post, "Ignorance is like sleep. Your first reaction to the person who wakes you up is anger," was interpreted as a message directed at her son.

While Hakan Sabancı stated that he did not wish to speak about the separation, he denied the cheating allegations. However, it was claimed on social media that Sabancı had continued his relationship with his former girlfriend, Chinese model Jocelyn Chew.

One user claimed that Sabancı was on vacation in Bodrum with Jocelyn and had been cheating on Hande Erçel for months. It was alleged that the betrayal dated back to the day the couple attended the Bocelli concert.

These developments were interpreted as suggesting that Hande Erçel's citing of the lack of a marriage proposal as the reason for the breakup was merely an excuse.
