Biran Damla Yılmaz responds to claims of prison sentence in Germany

Actress Biran Damla Yılmaz has responded through her lawyer to the allegations that she "received a 6-month prison sentence in Germany" and "has a 285 thousand euro debt for aesthetic procedures."

In a statement shared on Yılmaz's social media account, it was stated that the allegations do not reflect the truth. The statement noted that as a result of meetings held by her representative in Germany, lawyer Onur Can Yağbasan, with the relevant court and prosecutor's office units, it was determined that there is no criminal court decision regarding a prison sentence for the actress.

The claims in question were put forward by Yılmaz's ex-boyfriend, Abdurrahman Aydın; it was alleged that the cost of aesthetic operations in Germany was 285 thousand euros and that the actress was sentenced to 6 months in prison due to non-payment.

STATEMENT ON DOCUMENTS FROM LEGAL TEAM

In lawyer Yağbasan's examination report, it was stated: "According to the result of the examination I have conducted to date and my current knowledge, there is no criminal court decision regarding your conviction for a prison sentence. In my meeting with the court clerk, no file number corresponding to this could be identified."

Yılmaz's legal team also reported that there were falsifications and unauthorized changes made to the documents cited as the basis for the news reports. The statement requested that the public and members of the press not give credence to unverified allegations.
