Birand Tunca's mother laid to rest

TV and film actor Birand Tunca announced the news of his mother's death on social media with the words, "For the lover, there is no death, there is only reunion. My dear mother... May we have patience."

Tunca's mother, Yasemin Sözen, who had been battling cancer for many years, was laid to rest yesterday at Şakirin Mosque.

During the funeral ceremony, Tunca did not leave his mother's coffin.

The famous actor was not left alone on this painful day by Enis Arıkan, Burak Deniz, Hande Erçel, and his loved ones.

WHO IS BIRAND TUNCA?

Birand Tunca (born October 5, 1990) is a Turkish actor and model. Born and raised in Istanbul, Tunca began to take an interest in acting and modeling during his high school years. He received theater training at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center Conservatory.

Tunca made his debut in 2014 with his role in the historical drama series Diriliş: Ertuğrul. He first drew attention with his role in the series Aşk Laftan Anlamaz in 2016.

He made his breakthrough with his recurring role as the character Emre in the romantic comedy series Erkenci Kuş.
