Bülent Ersoy: 'I don't want anyone to come to my funeral'

Artist Bülent Ersoy, when asked about the recent losses among artists and the lack of loyalty shown, said, "Honestly, I don't care at all, and I don't want anyone to come to my funeral. I will go on my own."

Bülent Ersoy answered questions from journalists at a dinner she attended in Antalya. Regarding the recent losses among artists and the lack of loyalty, Bülent Ersoy stated, "Disloyalty is not just at funerals; as long as we breathe in this life, these disloyalties will continue. 

Honestly, I don't care at all, and I don't want anyone to come to my funeral. I will go on my own," she said.

I WILL BE IN THE FRONT ROW AT SEZEN'S FIRST CONCERT 

Sezen Aksu's words, "If I feel well, I might return to the stage," were recalled to Ersoy, who replied, "Honestly, I am very happy. Because her absence is a great void. She is one of the best voices in Turkey. She sings 'alaturka' so beautifully that I cannot describe it. She is not only a very valuable artist but also a very good friend, a very good companion, and a very good person. For the sake of her art, people need to listen to her live, feeling it. She has made a good decision. I will be in the front row at her first concert. Like a bell-ringer," she said.

When asked, "Have you ever thought about taking a break from the stage?" Ersoy replied, "Never, I have never thought of such a thing. I am a bit shameless. I will be on stage until my final moment."
