Çağlar Ertuğrul: 'Social media usage should be added to the school curriculum'

TV and film actor Çağlar Ertuğrul is currently making a name for himself both with the series Prens, created by Giray Altınok and airing new episodes every Tuesday on BluTV, and with the play Override, in which he stars alongside Ceyla Odman.
Speaking to Birsen Altuntaş, Ertuğrul said, "Everyone is involved with social media. I think this should be included in the curriculum. I mean, a course should be taught at the primary and middle school levels. It's not about fame or celebrity. Perhaps lessons should be given regarding cyberbullying... This should be done at a very young age."
'WE ARE RECOGNIZABLE FACES'
Pointing out that there is ruthless and uncontrolled bullying on social media directed not only at celebrities but at everyone, Çağlar Ertuğrul continued his words as follows:
"We are recognizable faces. We have become hardened to it. We can say 'Okay' and move on, but this cyberbullying is done to everyone. Whether you are famous or not... Sometimes a girl just minding her own business might post, 'I look so beautiful today'... It happens sometimes... 'You look like sh*t, you this, you that...' Terrible things... Okay, we are hardened and we look and move on, but... Sometimes I look. A 16-17-year-old, a 15-year-old girl... The things they receive. Whether they are famous or not... Maybe there should even be public service announcements or something..."
