Cem Adrian announces test results in social media post

The test results for Cem Adrian, who was named in a "narcotics" investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and who returned to Turkey from abroad to complete the necessary procedures, have been released.

Cem Adrian, for whom a detention warrant had been issued, had previously stated that it was impossible for any such substances to be found in his system.

"MY CONSCIENCE IS CLEAR"

Following the decision issued against him, Cem Adrian had stated, "I do not want anyone to have even the slightest doubt, as it is impossible for any of the mentioned substances to be found in any of my cells. I am very, very far from those issues. My conscience is clear, please let yours be as well. With love and respect."

In his post, Adrian used the following expressions:

"I present this to all my listeners, my loved ones, and the public.

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, I complied with all legal procedures with my belief in the truth. As a result of detailed tests performed on samples taken from my body, I have been informed that no narcotics or similar substances were detected in any of the samples and that the tests came back clean (negative).

I am very happy that I did not disappoint anyone who trusted and believed in me and what I said at the beginning of the process.

I would also like to thank the police and judicial officials, who carried out their duties with great diligence, for their approach and courtesy in ensuring the truth came to light.
