Cem Yılmaz's 'black market' outcry: 'Don't buy tickets for 47,800 TL either'
Comedian Cem Yılmaz responded to claims that tickets for his show 'CMXXIV' are being sold at exorbitant prices on the black market. Yılmaz reacted by saying, "Don't stress me out. Tickets cost what they cost. When someone tells you 47,800 TL, just don't buy it!"

Cem Yılmaz will meet audiences at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Stage starting February 7 with his new performance.
While tickets for the show, which were offered for sale between 495 and 4,400 liras, sold out in minutes for February and March, ticket prices on the black market have reached nearly 50,000 liras.
As the fact that tickets sold out in as little as five minutes and ended up on the black market sparked criticism, Yılmaz expressed his frustration in a post on his X account.
'I AM SAYING THIS FOR THE LAST TIME...'
Stating, "Dear friends, my show tickets cost the same as an average show ticket in Istanbul...", Yılmaz expressed that he has been warning against the black market for years but it has had no effect:
"It has been 30 years... Even though I have been saying for years, 'It's becoming a black market, please don't buy, don't do it, don't engage. There could even be fake tickets, be careful!', this childish cry finds no meaning... Since I am not the one to audit, ban, or impose sanctions, I only have one option left, which is not to perform. Oh, that happened... I am saying this for the last time; I am not doing four shows, there will be 100 shows this season.
When someone, appearing as a ticket-selling institution, says online without taking any responsibility, 'Hey, there are tickets for 47,800 TL,' just don't buy them! For God's sake, don't stress me out with 'the tickets are 50,000, the tickets are 20,000, the tickets are 100.' Tickets cost what they cost... Bro, are there any in the front rows? With money, huh! I'm not even getting into that."
