Filming continues for the series 'Kızıl Goncalar', which has been criticized by certain religious communities since the day it began airing and was handed a 2-week broadcast suspension and a 9 million TL administrative fine by RTÜK.

A ban was also imposed on the use of two locations rented and decorated months ago by the production, which were affiliated with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The production company, Gold Film, built the series' new sets from scratch at the Beykoz Kundura Factory.

'NEW LOCATIONS ARE READY'

Kızıl Goncalar producer Faruk Turgut stated, "Our new locations are ready. We are continuing from where we left off."

Following all these developments, the series' screenwriter Şükrü Necati Şahin also broke his silence.

The famous screenwriter made a post criticizing RTÜK.

'WE SHOULD ALL CALL RTÜK!'

Şahin quoted a comment that read, "It is very easy to reach RTÜK. You just call 178. I think we should all call them for our complaints regarding TV broadcasts! What do you say?"
