Following the brutal murders of 19-year-old Ayşenur Halil and İkbal Uzuner, the photos Uraz Kaygılaroğlu posed for in recent months for his girlfriend's exhibition were brought back to mind. The famous actor, who faced a wave of backlash, had made a statement to Nevşin Mengü.

Regarding the issue, Kaygılaroğlu said, "The exhibition was not mine. It was another artist's exhibition, and I only took part in one of her works. It was exhibited on April 16th, and it was my then-girlfriend's first solo exhibition. I did not foresee where the reactions would lead, or that they would lead to the topic of femicide. I experienced a lapse in judgment. I apologized afterward because I did not foresee how much it would trigger the dynamics and wounds of society, but as far as I understand, this apology was not accepted."

THE EXHIBITION OWNER ALSO SPOKE OUT!

Uraz's ex-girlfriend, Sayna Soleimanpour, broke her silence with a statement she made on social media. Stating, "I have received information that two of my works, which have nothing to do with these events, have been circulated as part of a lynching campaign initiated by troll accounts," Sayna Soleimanpour added, "Accounts making posts containing speculation and insults regarding me are being identified, and criminal complaints are being filed against them."
