After the test results were announced, Polat made consecutive posts stating that she did not use drugs and that the only result that could appear in her tests could be due to prescription medications.

Making statements throughout the night in tears, Dilan Polat drew attention with her final post. Sharing the audio 'Farewells only hurt beautiful hearts,' Dilan Polat wrote the note, 'Nilda and Milan Efe, I love you both very much.'

Later, it was alleged that Dilan Polat stopped her vehicle on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and attempted suicide.

While the suicide allegation was denied by Dilan Polat's husband, Engin Polat also shared the statement of Dilan Polat, who went to the police station to give a statement following the incident.

Dilan Polat stated the following:

“On 18.10.2025, at approximately 12:10, while I was driving the vehicle with license plate ... under my own control, traveling on the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge North Bridge exit, I suddenly felt unwell.

Due to my discomfort, I had palpitations and a panic attack; I then pulled my vehicle over to the right at the bridge exit, turned on my hazard lights, and then reached my husband and sent him my location.

I waited for my husband at the bridge exit for a while. Later, my husband came to me, and then police teams arrived.

They asked me if there was any problem; my reason for stopping at the bridge exit was not for the purpose of suicide.

Because I felt unwell, I pulled over to the right to avoid causing a traffic accident and waited for my husband.

I am not a complainant or plaintiff against anyone regarding this matter. My statement consists of these points.”
