Kitchen and bathroom cleaning is of great importance for hygiene. Over time, limescale that accumulates on faucets and showerheads can create problems in terms of both appearance and cleanliness. However, it is possible to get rid of these stubborn stains thanks to a mixture you can easily prepare at home. Moreover, this method is both economical and environmentally friendly.

A mixture of vinegar, lemon, and water offers a natural alternative to chemical cleaning products. This mixture provides effective cleaning while also leaving a pleasant scent.

REQUIRED MATERIALS

50 ml white vinegar

50 ml hot water

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

Mix these ingredients in a spray bottle. The citric acid in the lemon effectively dissolves limescale on glass, aluminum, and ceramic surfaces and provides a fresh scent.

HOW TO APPLY?

Spray the mixture onto limescaled surfaces such as showerheads, faucets, tiles, and shower curtains. If you do not have a spray bottle, you can also apply the mixture with a well-soaked sponge. After application, wait 10–15 minutes and then wipe with a damp cloth or microfiber towel. For resistant stains, you can repeat the process or use a soft-bristled brush.

With this natural method, you can both protect your budget and clean without harming the environment.
