According to the report by Birsen Altuntaş, the court decided that there is a similarity between one of the most-watched series of its time, 'Adını Feriha Koydum', and author Gülten Dayıoğlu's work named 'Yeşil Kiraz'.
MED YAPIM WILL SPONSOR DAYIOĞLU'S FOUNDATION FOR 10 YEARS
It was reported that following the court's decision, the series' producer Fatih Aksoy and screenwriter Melis Civelek visited Dayıoğlu. It was announced that Med Yapım will sponsor the Children and Youth Literature Foundation, established by Dayıoğlu, for 10 years.
Furthermore, it was stated that efforts will be made to develop film and series projects to ensure Dayıoğlu's works reach wider audiences. Thus, screen adaptations of Dayıoğlu's works are expected to be produced.
