The cast of the film 'Paranoya', which features a story that is both amusing and thought-provoking, came together for a table read.
Meeting at the IBB Beyoğlu Cinema, the film crew answered questions from members of the press before the table read.
The press conference for the film, which will begin shooting in the coming days, was attended by the film's director Cengiz Özkarabekir, and the cast, led by script consultants Ahmet Ümit, Onur Buldu, Ege Kökenli, Bülent Şakrak, Cihat Tamer, Hüseyin Avni Danyal, Ayşen İnci, Metin Yıldız, Canan Atalay, Adem Yılmaz and Ebru Şam.
Ahmet Ümit, who also moderated the meeting, emphasized in his speech that the film is very valuable for Turkish cinema and will hold a mirror to many of the country's realities.
Director Cengiz Özkarabekir stated that an entertaining film awaits moviegoers and thanked all the actors who took part in the film.
'A VERY WELL-WRITTEN CHARACTER'
Onur Buldu, who will play a journalist named Muntazam in the film Paranoya, stated that he received support from script consultant Psychiatrist Dr. Samuray Özdemir while preparing for his role.
Saying that the role scared him and that he wondered if he could pull it off, Buldu said, "I get very excited when there is a script like this. It is a very well-written character. I will do my best."
Drawing attention with its strong cast that brings together masters and young actors, the young cast of the film Paranoya stated that they were honored to work with the veteran names and to be part of the film's cast.
