According to a study, surprising results emerged in the ranking of countries where women have the largest hip measurements.
The research company GitNux examined the average hip measurements of women in 17 countries. Accordingly, South Africa took the top spot on the list with an average hip measurement of 105 centimeters.
South Africa was followed by Argentina with 104 centimeters and Sweden with 103.8 centimeters.
While Brazil, famous for its women with large hips, was not included in the study, Greece and Germany also ranked in the top 5.
In the list where the USA, Russia, Italy, Australia, and the Netherlands ranked in the top 10 respectively, the countries at the bottom were Japan and South Korea, where women are generally thinner.
The average hip measurement for women in these two countries was determined to be 96 centimeters.
INDIA AT THE BOTTOM
At the bottom of the list was India with 91 centimeters.
Researchers pointed out that genetic factors, eating habits, obesity, and aesthetic surgeries are also effective in women's hip measurements.
