Criminal complaint filed against Hülya Avşar and Merve Taşkın! Deemed 'incitement to prostitution'

A criminal complaint has been filed against Hülya Avşar and OnlyFans influencer Merve Taşkın, known for sharing explicit content.

The petition submitted to the prosecutor's office requests that criminal proceedings be initiated against the pair due to remarks that sparked public backlash. The application levels charges of "incitement to prostitution," "obscenity," "praising a crime," and "insulting the public" against both individuals.

STATEMENTS ON THE PROGRAM BECAME THE SUBJECT OF THE COMPLAINT

The criminal complaint, filed following Taşkın's appearance on Avşar's YouTube channel, states that certain expressions used during the program caused discomfort. The petition alleges that Taşkın engaged in dialogue during the broadcast that created a perception that "prostitution is an easy way to make money," "provides a luxurious standard of living," and that "this lifestyle is something to be encouraged."

Furthermore, the same application claims that Avşar used expressions that supported Taşkın's words and normalized the behavior. The petition argues that the video contains content harmful to society and requests that an access ban be imposed.

MERVE TAŞKIN'S PREVIOUS CASE

Influencer Merve Taşkın previously faced legal proceedings due to a post she made specifically for February 14. After she wrote that she could "accompany someone for 400 thousand TL" for those spending Valentine's Day alone—a post she stated was intended as humor—numerous complaints were filed with CİMER, leading to an investigation being launched against Taşkın.

After hearing the defendant's statement, the court lifted the measures of house arrest and the travel ban. The case was adjourned to a later date for the completion of missing documents.
