A new phase has been reached in the investigation into the suspicious death of artist Güllü on September 26. It has been learned that the preliminary examination report from the Forensic Medicine Institute includes "some critical and surprising findings." In line with these findings, Yalova Chief Public Prosecutor Duygu Bayar Öksüz has expanded the scope of the investigation.
SECOND PROSECUTOR ASSIGNED TO THE CASE
According to the report by Sabah, Chief Prosecutor Öksüz decided to deepen the investigation, taking into account the preliminary research results from the Bursa Forensic Medicine Presidency. In addition to Yalova Public Prosecutor Sevgi Başkaya, who is currently handling the file, another public prosecutor has been assigned. Thus, the investigation will be conducted under the coordination of two prosecutors.
SOUND ANALYSIS MEETING AT TÜBİTAK
It was stated that Chief Prosecutor Öksüz went to TÜBİTAK's facilities in Gebze yesterday to hold a coordination meeting with experts regarding the technical process for sound analysis.
COMPREHENSIVE AND CROSS-EXAMINATION
With the new prosecutor assignment, all evidence in the investigation will be re-examined. Camera footage, audio recordings, crime scene reports, witness statements, expert reports, Forensic Medicine findings, and criminal analyses will be evaluated in a comparative manner using a cross-examination method.
