According to the statement made by Recep Ergül, President of the Turkish Musical Work Owners Professional Union (MESAM), a funeral ceremony for the master artist will be held on Saturday, January 4, at the Atatürk Cultural Center.
Tayfur's funeral will be laid to rest at the Yeniköy Cemetery following the funeral prayer to be held at the Emirgan Çınaraltı Mosque during the afternoon (ikindi) prayer time.
