Deniz Baysal's 7-year marriage ends in a single hearing! Barış Yurtçu responds to infidelity allegations

It has been revealed that Deniz Baysal, who is currently in the spotlight for her role as Esme in the series "Taşacak Bu Deniz," has divorced singer Barış Yurtçu, whom she married in 2019.

While mutual allegations surfaced during the couple's divorce process, a statement made by Yurtçu's lawyer indicated that the claims in question do not reflect the truth.

MARRIED IN ÇEŞME IN 2019

Deniz Baysal and Barış Yurtçu married in a ceremony held in Çeşme in 2019, following a relationship that began in 2016. The couple, who kept their nearly 7-year marriage away from the public eye, decided to part ways some time ago.

DIVORCE CASE FILED IN JULY

Following the initial rumors of a separation, it emerged that Deniz Baysal had applied to the Istanbul Courthouse in July to file for divorce. It was alleged that in her petition, Baysal cited "the fundamental breakdown of the marital union, differences of opinion, and lack of interest" as grounds, and that the couple had been living separately for some time.

It was stated that Barış Yurtçu did not want to divorce and that the case turned into a contested process because no agreement could be reached between the parties. Following this, it was reported that Baysal requested confidentiality for the case file.

ALLEGATIONS REGARDING YURTÇU'S DIVORCE CONDITIONS

It was claimed that Barış Yurtçu made various demands in the petition he submitted to the court through his lawyer during the divorce process. It was alleged that Yurtçu demanded a large sum of money and other conditions from his wife in order to agree to the divorce.

INFIDELITY ALLEGATION SURFACES

The couple's divorce process was also discussed on the program "Söylemezsem Olmaz." It was suggested on the show that the reason for the separation between Deniz Baysal and Barış Yurtçu was not merely differences of opinion and lack of interest.

While Bali alleged that the singer had cheated on his wife, it was claimed that Baysal decided to divorce after learning of this situation. Following the allegations, a statement came from Barış Yurtçu's lawyer.

"COMPLETELY UNTRUE, BASELESS"

Yurtçu's lawyer denied the infidelity allegation brought against his client and made the following statement:

"The allegation voiced in the public eye regarding our client, Mr. Barış Yurtçu, that he 'cheated on his wife' is completely untrue, baseless, and clearly constitutes an attack on our client's personal rights."

"ATTEMPTS TO DISCREDIT OUR CLIENT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

Drawing attention to the confidentiality order in the ongoing divorce case, the lawyer stated the following:

"There is a confidentiality order issued by the court regarding the ongoing divorce proceedings. Despite this, it is clearly against the law for information and allegations regarding the content of the file and the private lives of the parties to be shared with third parties by the close circle of our client's spouse; and for these statements to be disseminated through the press and social media. The leaking of events to the public that were not even alleged by the opposing party, and attempts to discredit our client, will absolutely not be tolerated."

"STATEMENTS VIOLATING THE CONFIDENTIALITY ORDER SHOULD BE AVOIDED"

Yurtçu's lawyer also called upon members of the press and third parties, continuing as follows:

"We invite members of the press and third parties to immediately refrain from publishing allegations whose source and accuracy have not been investigated; and from including statements that violate the private lives of the parties, their personal rights, and the court's confidentiality order. No one has the right to turn an ongoing legal proceeding into tabloid material, target our client's personality and reputation, or manipulate public opinion with baseless allegations."

"ALL LEGAL AND CRIMINAL AVENUES WILL BE PURSUED"

The statement also expressed that legal proceedings would be initiated against those who brought the allegations to the agenda and who were stated to have shared case information:

"Regarding those who put forward, spread, and re-publish the untrue allegation, as well as those who share case information that should remain confidential with third parties; all necessary legal and criminal avenues, including criminal investigation, pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages, removal of content, and blocking of access, will be pursued."

UFUK YURTÇU: "MY SON DIVORCED IN A SINGLE HEARING"

Following the news of the divorce being reflected in the press, Barış Yurtçu's father, Ufuk Yurtçu, also made a post on his social media account.

Ufuk Yurtçu stated, "Barış Yurtçu has divorced Deniz Baysal in a single hearing."

BAYSAL REMOVED THE YURTÇU SURNAME

Following the divorce, Deniz Baysal made changes to her social media account and removed the surname 'Yurtçu' from her profile.

Baysal later also deleted photos taken with Barış Yurtçu from her social media account.
