Cem Yiğit Üzümoğlu, who was released under judicial control after being detained for supporting a boycott call, has received a negative response to his application to have his international travel ban lifted.
Üzümoğlu made the following statement on social media:
"My appeal regarding the international travel ban has been rejected. This means I cannot continue to perform my play in Greece. Let me add a question to this entire debate about artists. If an artist cannot practice their art, how are they supposed to be an artist?"
