Former model and actress Didem Uzel, who returned to Turkey after living in America for a long time, was spotted in Nişantaşı the other day. Uzel addressed those emigrating from Turkey abroad: "Living abroad is not easy. You are fleeing from Turkey, but do not flee. Truly, after a certain point, this is the place you will end up returning to."

'I COULD GO TOO, BUT...'
Chatting with reporters, Uzel said, "Living abroad is not easy. You are fleeing from Turkey, but do not flee. Truly, after a certain point, this is the place you will end up returning to... You have land that you need to take care of. I could go too, but I have never disconnected from here and I will not."
Addressing those thinking of leaving Turkey, Uzel stated, "The sentences 'I will go' and 'I am fleeing' are very wrong. Go, try it, and see for yourselves! If I speak for America, it cannot even feed its own citizens; what will they do there? Dreams are beautiful, but there is reality."
