Following the published interview of Duygu Nebioğlu, the daughter of Metin Akpınar, the news that her older sister Dilara G. had also filed a paternity suit against journalist Uğur Dündar made a significant impact.

Dilara G., whose story is being followed with curiosity by everyone, made statements to Günaydın regarding the process:

"My greatest wish is for my mother to be found. If my mother, Suphiye Orancı, appears, everything will be resolved. My mother's family is hiding her from us. They are in constant contact with her, but they do not want us to get in touch."

'I WILL CONTINUE MY STRUGGLE'

Continuing her words, Dilara G. stated, "Another point is that I did not file a paternity suit against Mr. Uğur out of nowhere. I decided to file a lawsuit against Mr. Uğur based on information provided by my mother and people who witnessed that period. They were in a relationship with my mother for a while; there are people who witnessed this. My mother herself told me that my father is Uğur Dündar.

I am a strong woman, and I will continue my legal struggle. My mother did not point to anyone other than Uğur Dündar as a candidate for my father. I waited to file the lawsuit so as not to hurt the family that raised me. When I established my own home and experienced the feeling of motherhood, that was when I decided to file a lawsuit for my biological father."

Following the reports in the press, Uğur Dündar had said the following:

"Today, it was announced in a newspaper that a paternity suit has been filed against me and that it will be concluded in June. Until today, we have meticulously complied with the confidentiality order issued by the court and have remained silent. But since someone from the other side has spoken, let me give a brief and clear answer.

The Council of Forensic Medicine, the institution to which the court referred both parties and which will have the final say, has completed the DNA analysis and rejected the claim of biological paternity. For me and my lawyer Murat Ergün, the matter is closed..."
